The year 2019 marks the 250^th anniversary of Alexander von Humboldt´s birthday. Therefore, the WWU rectorate has taken the opportunity to organise a special “Humboldt-Day” with the focus on Funding of research projects and incoming / outgoing mobility of excellent scientists .

The Welcome Centre for internationally mobile researchers and the Research funding support SAFIR invite interested members of all faculties to this event, dealing with the motivation, funding options and perspectives of international research. A speaker from the Humboldt-foundation has confirmed his participation.
