At the end of the European Week of 2017, the WWU Centre for Europe organized a major idea mining on the topic of "Generation Europe". More than 50 students from completely different disciplines worked a whole day to develop ideas for, about and with Europe for their generation and with reference to the  WWU Münster. A wide range of ideas and aspects have emerged as to what the current generation of students thinks about Europe, what wishes they have to the EU and what issues to consider.
