Vortrag von Dr. Roel Rutten (Tilburg University) zum Thema „Organizational knowledge creation and formal governance”

This year, the annual European Academy of Management took place in June, from 21 to 24, in Glasgow. Besides presenting a paper, Münster University's Chair of Organization, Human Resource Management and Innovation oranised an own track for the first time. The track with the title "Organising Creativity for Innovation: Multidisciplinary Perspectives, Theories and Practices“ was organised and guided by Maximilian Holtgrave along with an international team constiting of Professor Canan Ceylan from Uludag University (Turkey), Dr Michal Biron from Universtiy of Haifa (Israel) and Dr Sarah Meisenberger from FH Wiener Neustadt (Austria).

The track provided both established and junior scientists a platform for presenting and discussing their work about the interface between Human Resource Management and Innovation Management. The spectrum was very wide. Topics were e.g. Knowledge Management, Organisational Learning or the role of Corporate Incubators. For the organiser Maximilian Holtgrave, it was especially important to have an interdisciplinary exchange, which worked out well.

Besides the scientific exchange, the participants had time for socialing as well as discovering Glasgow and the scotish environs. Certainly, a conference's highlight was the gala dinner and the party in Kelvingrove Museum aftwerwards.

After the great success of the track this year, it will be offered also at the conference next year. The next EURAM conference will take place from June, 20th to June, 23rd in 2018 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Papers can be submitted to January, 10th 2018 at 2 PM. (MESZ) (further information: here.)
