In 2018, the Rectorates of the University of Twente and WWU have decided to support joint research projects by scientists* from both universities by setting up Collaboration Grants. The aim is to expand the cooperation between UT and WWU and to establish a strategic partnership. Collaboration Grants can be applied for in a joint application by scientists from both universities to initiate or intensify bilateral research projects. For an initial period of three years (2018-2020), up to three Collaboration Grants of up to 80,000 € each, half financed by EMU and half by UT, will be made available annually.
