The European Institute for Molecular Imaging has its 10th anniversary

The institute directors host a symposium on 5th of december

The „European Institute for Molecular Imaging“ (EIMI) of the Münster University celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and also the appointment of Prof. Dr. Friedemann Kiefer, who is now Professor for intravital molecular imaging. 50 employees from diverse fields use and develop imaging techniques in the European institute for Molecular Imaging. With those they can make molecular processes in organisms, tissue and cells visible. The imaging is used to research the development of vessels, inflammatory vessel diseases, infects and neurodegenerative diseases and cancer. The expertise and the intensive interaction between the diciplines at European Institue for Molecular Imaging' contributed to the fundament of the excellence cluster 'Cells in Motion'.
